SPARKLING SILVER HIGH TEA AT THE LANGHAM, MELBOURNE
To celebrate Melbourne Food and Wine Festival turning 25 and we are hosting a ‘Sparkling Silver’ High Tea.
The four-tiered silver tea stand will be laden ribbon sandwiches and topped with feature festival scones.
Our high tea dessert buffet will sparkle and shimmer with petite sweet treats.
Gontran Cherrier teamed up with The Langham, Melbourne in 2010 and was a guest baker at The Urban Dairy during the 2016 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, so it is fitting that one of his famous pastries will be featured on The Langham, Melbourne’s Sparkling Silver High Tea.
Philippe Mouchel is arguably Australia's most loved French import. He is well known for his light as air French pastries, including his regularly requested Petit Prince. As a former alumni of Melbourne Food and Wine events, Philippe Mouchel has graciously shared his recipe for these delicate cakes and they will be baked in The Langham and served as part of the hotel's Sparkling Silver High Tea.
