Batter up! The international holiday to celebrate the buttery delicacy that is, waffles, has arrived in Melbourne.

If you swoon over a good waffle, you’ll want to taste the fresh and fluffy waffles the Melba chefs are dishing up.

International Waffle Day calls for a varied line-up with waffle dishes to cater sweet-tooths and their savoury counterparts.

The sweet station will feature Callabuet Belgium cocoa waffles and Heilala vanilla waffles, to be tailored to your liking with a range of toppings.

As for the savoury, think Margaret River duck with a hint of fresh organge.

Orange scent waffles with pulled Margret River duck and sauce maltaise

Callabuet cocoa waffles – rich Belgian chocolate made crispy with a hint of Cointreau

Heilala vanilla waffles – lightly made with Australian vanilla and a hint of lemon
