Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Cowabunga! Everyone’s Favourite Foursome – the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will Take Over High Tea at Aria at The Langham, Melbourne during the June and July School Holidays
May 2016.... If you were a child in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the names Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael may instantly trigger memories of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and not the Italian Renaissance artists after whom the turtles are named.
The release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ latest movie, “Out of the Shadows,” the turtles are enjoying a renaissance of their own.
To celebrate the movie’s launch, The Langham, Melbourne will be serving a children’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles high tea during the upcoming school holidays from Monday 27 June until Thursday 14 July 2016.
From avid fans to those that want to introduce their 90’s obsession to their own children, pint size diners will get their sugar hit from Donatello cupcakes, Raphael red-banded brownies, a Leonardo macaron decorated with his signature blue mask as well as lemonade, hot chocolate, a green hued jelly and everyone’s favourite party time treat, fairybread.
There will also be Michelangelo’s favourite food, in the form of miniature pizzas and chocolate covered katanas made out of pretzels, a healthy apple and traditional cucumber finger sandwiches.
The high tea is available twice a day, from 10am until 11.30am and noon until 1.30pm.
While there is no official entertainment or activities, children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite New York City based masked turtle.
The high tea is $35.00 per child or $45.00 per child including a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle colouring book and stickers. Adults can indulge in a decadent Wedgwood high tea priced from $55.00 per adult.
