The Langham, Melbourne Hosts an Equine-Themed High Tea

May 2021…. In celebration of the new DreamWorks animation children’s movie, Spirit Untamed, The Langham, Melbourne is hosting an equine-themed high tea on weekdays from Monday 28 June until Friday 16 July during the winter school holidays.

Inspired by the heart-warming story of Lucky Prescott and her wild horse, Spirit, the menu at Melba Restaurant will feature a horseshoe-shaped bonbon, every child’s favourite fairy bread, Spirit shortbread biscuit, raspberry muesli cupcake crowned with green apple buttercream icing, chocolate scones and a cute edible flower pot made out of chocolate mousse and topped with a cactus meringue. Savoury dishes include a triple-decker ham and cheese triangle sandwich, indulgent potato gems and chicken nuggets. Children can also enjoy red cordial and hot chocolate.

Children are invited to dress up in their favourite rodeo-inspired outfits and will be given a set of colouring pencils and Spirit activity sheets to colour in to their wildest dreams.

The Spirit Untamed high tea is $69.00 per child including a Spirit foals toy.

Adults are invited to enjoy Aria Lounge’s new Wedgwood high tea created by The Langham, Melbourne’s Executive Pastry Chef, Markus Bohm, including a glass of premium sparkling wine and tea or coffee for $75.00 per person.

Seated in Melba Restaurant and served on a three tiered stand, the afternoon teas are available from 11.30am until 1pm and 2pm until 3.30pm.
